Özet

In this study, influences of the plugging in the evaporator filters and condenser coils on the system performance were examined in a wall type split air conditioning system. In an original air conditioning system designed for digital experimental measurements, the changes in operating parameters such as temperature, pressure, thermal capacity, compressor power, coefficients performance for heating and cooling were investigated by creating plugging on the evaporator filters and condenser coil, proportionally. According to the obtained results, in the case of restricting the evaporator coil performance with 50% and 100% due to the air filters plugging, the COP of air conditioning system decreased as 3.32% and 11.19%, respectively. Furthermore, in the event of 50% and 100% plugging caused by bending, crushing and contamination of condenser coil, the COP of air conditioning system decreased as 12.07% and 47.38%. The results indicate that surface maintenance of evaporator filters, condenser and evaporator coils need to be done, regularly. Therein, performing heating and cooling processes of wall type split air conditioning with less energy will be provided to operate without any problems during a long period of time.
